Two young couples backpacking through Ireland discover that one of Ireland’s most famous legends is a terrifying reality. If you’re expecting this to be tied to the previous Leprechaun films in any fashion, forget it. Visually it looks pretty good, but not even Gary Chalk, the guy who voiced Optimus Primal in Beast Wars could save this for me. They basically turn the Leprechaun into an almost mindless killing machine. It’s like they didn’t even watch the others.
