Viewing Notes

I gave this film a higher rating than most people who saw this film is for some reason the way Hitchcock shot the film and the expressions on the actors face was brilliant.

Although I do noticed while watching is the controversy of the actions and the behavior of the characters Joe and the Lodger towards Daisy and then she basically toyed with both of them. Which some people are offended by it online. Even though I was a little annoyed by Daisy’s actions, it doesn’t bothered me to much. It is a 1920’s after all.

I also think (without spoilers) Hitchcock’s original end to the movie would’ve been more a chilling and possibly a better ending rather than the final cut. Which the studio force Hitchcock just for the sake of a better sweet ending.

All and all it’s a great movie.
