Note that I use a 4-point scale.
This spoof has a promising start, and some genuinely funny moments, but it loses its way about 3/4 of the way through. This may have been intentional because one of the films being spoofed was The Last Exorcism (with its nonsensical ending), but either way, it doesn’t work. Aside from The Last Exorcism, the other major films being spoofed are The Blair With Project and Paranormal Activity. Was it better than I expected? Yes. Was it great? No. It’s still better than the majority of the satires being released these days.
