Viewing Notes
The first LAID TO REST flick wasn’t anything new. It’s a standard slasher flick. What set it apart from the rest was a cool looking baddie, Chromeskull, and some amazingly creative death scenes. Coming from a special effects background, director Robert Hall knew what to deliver on.
LAID TO REST 2 is a solid sequel. It expands on the Chromeskull character and finds a creative way to bring this killer back. A tight story and gore gags deliver. (Even though one kill is stolen from JASON X)
