Overview
In the world’s most dangerous prison, a new game is born: Death Race. The rules of this adrenaline-fueled blood sport are simple, drive or die. Viewing Notes
DEATH RACE 2 shouldn’t have been as good as it was. A prequel to 2008’s DEATH RACE, it tells the story of the original Frankenstein. Light on overall plot, and following a pre-determined timeline, somehow DEATH RACE 2 works.
It’s almost just as good as DEATH RACE and I enjoyed it about as much. While I wish the new DEATH RACE flicks would have explored the cross country of the original Roger Corman DEATH RACE 2000, I think these movies are dumb fun with some likable characters and well staged action.
