S&Man (also known as Sandman) is a 2006 pseudo-documentary film that examines the underground subculture of horror films. It combines real interviews with indie horror film makers and a scripted plot that does not immediately come into focus until the second half of the film.

This documentary about the seedy underworld of amateur horror is worth checking out. It’s an interesting film exercise by J. T. Petty (Director of Burrowers) being 90% real and 10% fabricated. I was genuinly unnerved and surprised by the end of this documentary, so I count that as a positive. Worth watching.
