Not a bad movie by any means, even though it tanked at the box office when it came out. I think it was a mistake to cast American/English actors in the lead roles: Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson and Peter Sarsgaard just don’t really make for effective Russians, and that drew away from the reality of the situation.
Despite that, the actors do a decent enough job and though it starts slow, the tension in the latter half of the movie really serves the movie well.
Not Bigelow’s high mark by any means.
