Viewing Notes

Some hallmark Kubrick stuff here, including the long takes and clinical approach to the characters. What really killed it for me was the stilted dialogue that, at times, just seemed painful to watch. I also particularly hated the piano in the soundtrack during much of the second half of the movie.

Not Kubrick’s best movie, by far, in my book.
