About a third of the way into this I realized I had already watched it. Given that my memory of it was so spotty, I decided to finish it out anyway.
In some ways The Objective feels like an interesting cross between Apocalypse Now and 2001. It has a weird, unsettling vibe to it that’s both disturbing and intriguing. While it doesn’t completely deliver on those promises, and there are definite issues with the movie, I still enjoyed it.
