I saw this back in the late ‘80s or early ‘90s but hadn’t seen it since. Since it was due to expire from Netflix Instant on June 1 I figured it was time.
It still packs a pretty solid punch, probably because it doesn’t rely on gore, only showing a few of the many murders that happen during the course of the movie.
Michael Rooker’s performance is unsettling and combined with the observational camera style, really creates a creepy, unnerving film.
