Viewing Notes

Another pre-code film from the TCM Archives set, once again starring the astonishingly beautiful Norma Shearer. The movie is bolstered by an outstanding supporting actor performance by Clark Gable as, by turns charming and menacing, gangster Ace.

An all-around great film that deserves a watch by more people.
