Viewing Notes

A really well done no-budget drama from Canada that presents a pretty unique and unvarnished perspective on what motivates a teenager to go on a shooting rampage at his high school.

In a discussion after the movie I heard someone mention that they thought the kids shooting the footage were just a figment of the protagonist’s imagination, which I thought was a pretty good take on it. The director, who did a Q&A afterward, did mention that the two “students” who were behind the camera did have roles in the film, but were mostly cut to keep the focus on the main character.
