Viewing Notes
A fairly tense piracy drama focusing on the mental and physical toll the negotiations take on both the negotiators and the hostages. Almost all of the violence is implied rather than shown which increases the tension since there are times you’re unsure of what has happened.
One thing that really struck me was how casual the violence was for the Somali pirates, which played out in threats for seemingly random reasons and served to keep me on edge throughout most of the film.
