I decided to give this one a spin because of the cast and because it was directed by Kathryn Bigelow. Pretty well done, with the flashback to the 1800s murder mystery being the more interesting of the stories that are woven together. Sarah Polley and Catherine McCormack steal the show, with Sean Penn mostly providing angsty backdrop.
