Twenty-eight days after a killer virus was accidentally unleashed from a British research facility, a small group of London survivors are caught in a desperate struggle to protect themselves from the infected. Carried by animals and humans, the virus turns those it infects into homicidal maniacs—and it’s absolutely impossible to contain.

Gavin wanted to watch this, so we rented it from Amazon Instant since my DVD of it was packed up back in Illinois. Though I actually like the sequel better, this one still holds up really well. I’m still amazed by the empty deserted London scenes which are just haunting.
I also forgot that Naomi Harris was in this (she being the new Moneypenny in Skyfall).
