Viewing Notes

Bill Nighy is the acting highlight here; his scenes are a joy to watch. I’m also a fan of Rosamund Pike who is woefully underutilized in Wrath.

Overall, a decent but underwhelming experience, which is sad because there was so much potential to do a lot of interesting stuff, given the rich background of the Greek mythos. Obviously most of the time and care went into the SFX which impregnate practically every scene to the point of making it bland.

The action scenes lacked tension and tended to end much too quickly, with the exception of the opening scene in the fishing village which was done well.

And did I mention Rosamund Pike?
