Viewing Notes

I hadn’t watched this in ages and had been wanting to revisit it recently, so it was good luck to find it at the Boulder Library on my lunch break.

It’s a great snapshot of its time and it does an excellent job of walking a fine line on the issues of nuclear power, focusing more on corporate malfeasance and the risks of relying on any “fault-proof” system. It was also interesting how it didn’t shy away from sexism in journalism.

Jack Lemmon is excellent as is Jane Fonda and Wilford Brimley. A really well cast movie.
