Another one of my more anticipated movies of Fantastic Fest, this strange fever dream of a movie is more about the visuals and the soundtrack than it is about any coherent plot (though it does have a plot that’s revealed more fully close to the end of the film).
I desperately want the soundtrack to this!
The director described the movie as a response to a song that plays at the end of the film whose lyrics describe Norway descending down to the Mediterranean. I don’t think you need to understand that, or even know about it, to enjoy this weird ‘80s era vampire film, you just need to revel in the music and enjoy the ride.
