Viewing Notes
Not an easy movie to watch, as much for what it doesn’t reveal (a motive for instance, which is only hinted at via some home movie flashbacks) as for some of the shocking scenes that take place; but even more so for the banality and cast-off nature in which the violence is committed.
Definitely in my top five for the festival, though I suspect it left a lot of people unsettled to the point that they might’ve even been a bit angry with the lack of resolution.
Another movie where I desperately want to own the soundtrack as well!
