A quiet, profound, disturbing masterpiece of modern Polish cinema and perhaps one of the best movies I’ve ever seen dealing with the aftermath of the Holocaust. Stunningly filmed in black and white, I was mesmerized by every single frame. I so wish I’d been able to catch this at the theater when it played here.
