Viewing Notes

I wasn’t a fan of this when it came out back in 1982 so I thought I’d revisit it to see if my opinion had changed in the ensuing years. Nope. Still not a fan. The movie is too static, a result of the puppetry, and the story too simplistic (both conceptually and in execution) that it feels dull and out of place.

There are some fun things about it and parts of it are cool, but it just doesn’t work well for me overall.
