Viewing Notes
This movie wasn’t what I thought it was going to be and that’s a good thing. It’s a slow, character-driven crime drama and it’s menace simmers until it boils over. Another excellent performance from Tom Hardy but also great acting all around. Adapted from a short story by Dennis Lehane.
