Very well done for having a cast of two and a single scene comprised of the main stage of a theatre. In productions like this everything depends on the chemistry of the cast and Seigner and Amalric are both excellent and play off of each other so well.

I really enjoyed how the audience’s perceptions of Seigner’s character are set up at the beginning before being completely subverted by the end. Polanski manipulates the audience as much as Seigner’s character manipulates Amalric’s.
