Great French historical drama with Mads Mikkelsen at the top of his game. Even though I’m not familiar with the historical events the film is based on, I was thankful that they didn’t dive into exposition. Some things happened and I wasn’t quite sure why or how, but that’s a lot like life so I just rolled with it. Very well done.
