Viewing Notes

Tonia and I managed to sneak this in while waiting between Gavin’s marching band performances in Brighton. Fun, visually sumptuous movie that hearkens back to the classic era of things like Dracula or Camilla.

My only peeve with the movie was the over-the-top goriness of the ghosts. It broke the sense that you were watching something much older and really brought me out of the movie.
