Overview
An American man returns to a corrupt, Japanese-occupied Shanghai four months before Pearl Harbor and discovers his friend has been killed. While he unravels the mysteries of the death, he falls in love and discovers a much larger secret that his own government is hiding.

Viewing Notes
Had this been made 20 years ago the budget would have been much larger and the sets would’ve been better. Despite that it does a pretty good job of depicting a Shanghai that doesn’t exist anymore. An interesting cast that mostly does a decent job combined with an interesting plot made it worth the watch.
