Chris Pratt works hard to pull this film off. Without his earnest performance I don’t think I would have liked it as much. It’s definitely a low key sci-fi film that eschews the thriller/action path for romance; raised above direct to streaming status by its star power.
Speaking of, Jennifer Lawrence looks astonishingly beautiful in this, especially the scenes where she’s ostensibly without much makeup.
