Viewing Notes

The setup is a little short and ending a bit wonky, but I still enjoyed this lesser Hitchcock effort quite a bit. The two leads, especially Nova Pilbeam, are charming and have great chemistry. This was on Amazon Prime but the print isn’t the best, especially in comparison to the Criterion Blu-Rays I’ve been watching of other films in this period. Would be nice to see a restored print of this at some point.
