Viewing Notes

It’s been a while since I’ve watched a truly good Japanese thriller/horror. What better way to pick up that thread than to watch the latest from the director of CURE? This is a nice, disturbing look at the alienation and isolation of Japanese society and the breakdown of the family through the auspices of an identity thief and serial killer.

Teruyuki Kagawa is pretty great as Nishino.
