Overview
Quan is a humble London businessman whose long-buried past erupts in a revenge-fueled vendetta when the only person left for him to love – his teenage daughter – dies in an Irish Republican Army car bombing. His relentless search to find the terrorists leads to a cat-and-mouse conflict with a British government official whose own past may hold the clues to the identities of the elusive killers.

Viewing Notes
As Jackie Chan hits his mid-sixties I expect its only natural for him to slow down on his over-the-top stunt work. While there isn’t as much of it in THE FOREIGNER, there’s enough to be fun to watch.
I didn’t go in expecting crazy amounts of martial arts action so I wasn’t disappointed. This is a pretty capable political thriller with Chan inserted into the middle of it. Not amazing but more than capable and certainly kept us entertained.
