Viewing Notes
Not nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be but still felt lackluster to me. I think its hard to pull off historical dramas with a very small budget. They did pretty well with what they had. The costumes were felt authentic but the dialogue was too modernized and the camerawork felt too close and had that shot on video feel (too well defined?) that made it difficult to step into the time period.
On the other hand the three lead protagonists were great, especially the lead actress. She did a lot to sell me on the film. I hope we see her in more movies.
