Overview
Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince assemble a team of metahumans consisting of Barry Allen, Arthur Curry and Victor Stone to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and the Parademons who are on the hunt for three Mother Boxes on Earth.

Viewing Notes
A perfectly serviceable, middle-of-the-road, over-the-top SFX action flick. Fun enough to watch but pretty forgettable. It did give the Dolby Atmos theater a nice workout though. Probably the most seat-vibrating movie I’ve watched in an Atmos theater.
Of all the characters, the most interesting and (potentially) most emotionally complex are Cyborg and the Flash. But the movie doesn’t really devote much time building either of them up. I can’t imagine either will garner their own movies which is too bad.
Having seen this, I would still love to see a movie around the JSA and Darkseid. I love some of the JSA characters, like Wildcat for one, but I doubt it’d turn out any better than this film. So maybe not.
