The description mentioned a snake woman and midgets so of course I had to watch. The print on Amazon Prime is shit: pan and scan, massive sound syncing issues, terrible quality and hard coded subs in two languages. Probably ripped from a VHS. I would seriously pay money for a good, clean transfer from original source material on Blu-ray in a heartbeat.
This is a sequel to a movie called, I believe, THE DEVIL WOMAN, and is also known as DEVIL WOMAN II.
The story is muddy and takes its time, but there’s a lot of pay off if you stick with it in the form of rock creatures, a bat man, tree creatures, a grandmotherly snake woman (a real woman in a snake costume!) and the titular character who has snakes for hair. And midgets. And a kung fu dude who’s tasked with rescuing some guy’s daughter from the snake woman.
The last half hour is great kung fu versus midget/tree creature/rock creature/bat man action.
