Great, sobering documentary that shows the L.A. riots of 1992 in a greater historical context of things like the Watts riots of 1965, the Rodney King trial and the Korean shop owner who killed a 15 year old black girl.
I knew nothing of the Korean shop owner’s trial, which really gave context to the animosity towards Korean-owned businesses in South Central L.A. during the riots.
