This is the least Nolan-like of all of Christopher Nolan’s films. Doesn’t mean its not good, it is, just that it breaks with a lot of his conventions around linear/non-linear storytelling.
I believe this was his first “Hollywood” film, and one of the few he didn’t write himself. It’s also a remake of an excellent Norwegian film of the same name.
