Finally cracked open the remastered Blu-ray and it looked great! I sometimes forget just how strange and unlike any other movie at the time this thing is. Coscarelli made this when he was 22 so that probably has something to do with the, at times, disjointed, auteur feel of the film. But I think it’s great because of its idiosyncracies, not in spite of them.
