I liked it, but wanted to like to more. I was really hoping it would push its boundaries even further than it did and just completely freak out.
That said, given it’s microscopic budget, they managed to put all the money and then some on-screen! This is probably partly due to the involvement of Steven Soderbergh who provided an editing pass and probably some financial backing to finish the project.
This film didn’t go over well with the wine and cheese crowd. I never understand how people come to a film festival and don’t embrace stuff that challenges the medium.
Watching this while high would probably be an even better experience.
