Viewing Notes

Plays more like a made-for-TV drama but with a lot more random violence. I didn’t expect it to be good, and it’s not, but it isn’t entirely bad either. It’s overly ambitious in its plot and is really an ensemble picture which means Cage isn’t entirely the focus. In fact he’s mostly wasted and obviously just used as a marquee name to elevate the picture.

And still, I can’t hate it because it has some decent, promising elements and is capable enough to outweigh some of the flimsy plot points and sub standard acting.
