A dramatized account of a great Russian naval mutiny and a resultant public demonstration, showing support, which brought on a police massacre. The film had an incredible impact on the development of cinema and is a masterful example of montage editing.

It’s been over 30 years since I last watched this but the Odessa Steps sequence is still just as brilliant and upsetting.
The print quality on Amazon Prime leaves something to be desired. It’d probably be worth picking up the Kino Blu-ray of this. So many movies, so little money and time.
