Viewing Notes

Paul Wegener (the golem in DER GOLEM) is great as the evil/mad Haddo the Magician but otherwise this is mostly dull. There’s a great fantasy scene and the ending definitely had influence on horror movies such as FRANKENSTEIN but that’s about it. The Germans turned out much better horror movies in the silent era.
