An interesting companion piece to ZULU in that the events in ZULU DAWN immediately precede the equally famous battle at Rorke’s Drift in ZULU. Where ZULU highlights the courage of a hugely outnumbered garrison of British soldiers and is more of a siege-style battle, the battle of Isandlwana in ZULU DAWN focuses on the folly and hubris of the British army which led to a hugely catastrophic massacre.
Great cast and simply MASSIVE battle scenes with thousands of extras.
