I wasn’t encouraged by the trailer, so my expectations were low going in. Glad to say it fared better than that. It has a lot of issues including clunky dialogue, no real empathy for the characters, a crowded story, some bad FX in places, and weirdly gratuitous violence that felt out of place near the end. Despite all that, I still liked it overall, and hope it does well enough to make a sequel.
