Got home from the Denver Silent Film Festival just in time to see the end credits of DEMON WIND (which I might watch tomorrow) and catch the second film. I love this movie and it was fun to hear Joe Bob talk about it, especially the insights into Mary Woronov’s early career as part of Andy Warhol’s Factory group, which I never knew. Fun to see her in this after having just seen NIGHT OF THE COMET on Tuesday.
However, I’m a member of the Drive-In Mutant Collective group on Facebook and I’ve got to say I’m disappointed in these so-called fans who shit on anything they don’t care for. It’s like I stumbled into a STAR WARS incel group. What a bunch of whiny, fucking idiots. I see some of this on Twitter too, but the Facebook group is getting pretty bad.
