I’d be surprised if this isn’t in my top 10 at the end of the year. Crushingly beautiful and heartfelt.

Saw this was Gavin at the Violet Crown cinema in Santa Fe while Tonia and Ewan wandered downtown for a while. Very “patron of the arts” crowd which was perfectly fine EXCEPT the woman next to me who made some sort of noise or comment about pretty much everything that happened on screen. Everyone else in the theater was great and nearly all of them stayed through the credits, so there’s that.
