I remember reading the novel and thinking “this would make a fun movie” and then they made the movie and it was fun in a way they really didn’t intend.
Such a weird, goofy cast! Tim Curry, Laura Linney (whatever happened to her?), Ernie Hudson (who is a standout in his role), Joe Don Baker, John Hawkes, Bruce Campbell, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, a cameo by Jimmy Buffet?!
