Viewing Notes
Excellent movie but relentlessly dirty and grim. Not a movie you recommend to anyone lightly. The sets and characters feel lived in and human. It never tries to explain the why but for the most part lays out the events as they likely happened, the camera never turning away.
It does make the viewer complicit by questioning society’s valuing of humans based on their appearance and social status.
