Two North Korean soldiers are killed in the border area between North and South Korea, prompting an investigation by a neutral body. The sergeant is the shooter, but the lead investigator, a Swiss-Korean woman, receives differing accounts from the two sides.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen this so I figured it was time for a revisit. Starts off a little wobbly (on purpose perhaps) but gets its footing and draws you in as things progress. While not completely there yet, you do start to get a sense of Park Chan-wook’s evolving style here.
And man, what a cast!
