I own this but it was fun watching with Briggs’ commentary, especially around the MPAA demanding cuts to the “fellatio” scene, etc.
The blocking, camera movement and lighting are all well done in this, despite a low budget.
A good, if obvious, choice for The Last Drive-In. I feel like Briggs has an affinity for indie NYC filmmakers in particular. Their stuff tends to test the boundaries more than West coast filmmaking in the 1960-80s time period.
