I saw this for the first time at Mile High Horror a few years ago as a midnight screening of a 35mm print. Not entirely sure why I decided to watch this again but the real animal violence is still stomach churning. I decided early on I’d just skim Twitter during those scenes and I did. Still doesn’t stop the sound of real animals being killed on screen for entertainment from reaching your ears. Still highly disturbing.
