Great cast and great creature FX wasted in a too short and goofy story. I actually prefer the second film even though the acting is worse in it.
Fun to see Mark Hamill on screen though as the detective; and great to see RE-ANIMATOR’s Jeffrey Combs and David Gale reunited; and Linnea Quigley in a fun little fourth-wall breaking cameo in the movie within a movie.
Fun fact, I did a small website design for Steve Wang’s mask business back in the late 90s.
